Near East Primary School celebrated the 35th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on 15 November with Great Enthusiasm.
The ceremony began a moment of silence in the spiritual presence of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and martyrs and followed by the singing of National Anthem. Then, Bisem Nasiboğlu, a 5th grade student, delivered a speech indicating the meaning and importance of the day.
In her speech, Nesiboğlu emphasized the importance of the Republic by drawing attention to the struggle given to reach these days.
The ceremony, in which the poems were read and words about the Republic were shared, ended with the songs "Republic" and "Ah Kıbrıs'ım” that voiced by the school choir and orchestra.
Throughout the ceremony, our students proved once again their devotion to our republic. Besides, our students voiced their commitment to sustaining our republic by attaching a special focus on the values of the republic.
