Near East Primary School students received not only Honorable Mention award in composition but also the First Prize, the Second Prize and Honorable Mention award in bookmark design at the Composition Competition and Bookmark Competition that organized by Cyprus Turkish Education Association (KTEV) for primary school students.

Students studying in different primary schools across the country participated in the Composition Competition and Bookmark Competition with 260 compositions and 11 thousand bookmarks. Ece Ilgın Ongun, student at Near East Primary School" deemed worthy for Honorary Mention Award in the composition competition. Kağan Erçelik and Enes Çetiner, students at Near East Primary School, who competed in the 2nd and 3rd grade students’ category in the Bookmark Competition, were respectively awarded with the Second Prize and Honorary Mention Award. İrem Özkader and Emel Özçelikr, students at Near East Primary School, who competed in the 4th and 5th grade students’ category in the Bookmark Competition, were respectively deemed worthy for the First Prize and Honorary Mention Award.

The Near East Primary School students, who participated in the competitions and deemed worthy for awards, received their awards with a glorious award ceremony that organized by Cyprus Turkish Education Foundation at Atatürk Culture Center in Nicosia.
