Near East Preschool students experience the joy of encountering colors in the heart of art through lessons they take at the Cyprus Museum of Modern Art.
Education at Near East Preschool isn't limited to the classroom. Aiming to transform learning into an interactive experience, students receive their art education at the Cyprus Museum of Modern Art.
Surrounded by works of art, children paint and work with ceramic clay, developing their manual skills and nurturing their imaginations, fostering a natural curiosity and love for art. Students explore and learn about the exhibits in the lessons held in a museum atmosphere, then create their own works inspired by what they see. This allows them to engage with art firsthand and develop their creativity.

An educational model that nurtures imagination through art...
Near East Preschool Nicosia Head Teacher Rahme Gürsoy stated that they will be offering creative and engaging instruction in collaboration with Near East Museums at certain times of the academic year. Gürsoy said, “We will continue to offer our children diverse experience opportunities to enrich their learning and foster their curiosity in art. Introducing our children to art at an early age and nurturing their imagination and learning processes is crucial for us. The museum offers not only an exhibition space but also an environment that contributes greatly to development.”
