Our bilingual curriculum is implemented in 7 areas (Personal-Social and Emotional, Physical, Communication and Language, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Meaningful Arts and Design) using contemporary methods and activities in both Turkish and English.
Starting from age 3, our children begin English-based education, and by age 5, they achieve effective English speaking skills while developing reading and basic writing skills in Turkish, considering developmental characteristics.
Perception of the World: Similar to the earlier description, this lesson helps children adapt to their environment and understand the cultural and social structure of society.
Turkish Language Activities: As previously described, this activity supports language development, comprehension, and literacy skills.
Specific English: This course covers the skills required for daily life and academic learning in English.
French: This course covers the skills required for daily life and academic learning in French.
Mathematics: Development of mathematical concepts, patterns, addition and subtraction, problem-solving, and mathematical inquiry skills.
Visual Arts: This activity enables students to express their feelings and thoughts through art while learning about line, shape, color, and texture using various techniques and materials.
Music: Similar activities as previously described.
Play and Movement/Physical Education: The same goals apply here as in the earlier section.
ICT - Robotics Coding: In this lesson, students are guided to use technology correctly and effectively, with coding lessons supported by Cubetto and tablet applications, promoting learning while having fun.
Yoga-Mandala-Mindfulness: Yoga teaches personal discipline, breathing and relaxation techniques, and yoga poses through songs and games. Mandala activities are a journey of exploration focusing on personal creativity, enhanced awareness, and spiritual development. These activities enhance children's concentration, self-confidence, and patience, enriching their imaginations and significantly developing their creativity. Mindfulness education covers observation and concentration, body and five senses awareness, patience, trust, and allowing feelings to exist, as well as dealing with thoughts and fostering compassion for oneself and others. This training is supported by breathing exercises, meditation, stories, and movement. Our program also includes "Body Integrity Education" aimed at increasing students' awareness to protect their bodily integrity.
Drama: As previously described, this activity promotes learning through experience and creativity while helping students establish positive social relationships.
Intelligence Games: This course supports the development of strategy, planning, logical reasoning, visual-spatial thinking, attention, concentration, memory, and other cognitive skills.
Science Workshop: This class, similar to the earlier description, provides opportunities for experimentation and scientific inquiry.
Swimming: Our swimming classes are held in the heated pool at our school for the 4 and 5-year age groups.
Life Skills: This course, as previously described, supports the necessary skills for students to live independently and with quality.
